Investing 101

Seven short, plain-English lessons that take you from "investing is gambling for people richer than me" to a simple, automated plan you actually understand. No stock tips, no crypto hype, no jargon walls — just the boring, evidence-backed approach that has quietly built more wealth than every hot tip in history combined: start early, buy everything, pay almost nothing in fees, automate it, and don't flinch. The principles work whether you earn in dollars, euros, pounds, rupees, or pesos — and where the details differ by country, we show you the pattern and exactly what to look up for yours. Every lesson includes a free interactive calculator or tool, so you're not just reading about compounding — you're watching your own numbers compound.

Evidence Over Hype
Built on the findings that hold up everywhere: most pros don't beat index funds long-term, fees compound against you, and time in the market beats timing the market. No hot tips, ever.
🌍
Works in Any Country
The principles are universal; only the wrappers change. We show you the global pattern — then point you at exactly what to look up locally: your tax-advantaged accounts, your brokers, your index funds.
🧮
Learn With Your Numbers
Every lesson has a free calculator built in — compounding, fee drag, asset allocation, dollar-cost averaging — running on your amounts, your timeline, your currency.
By the end of this course, you'll have a working investment plan — not just vocabulary:

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Investing 101 course really free?
Yes. All 7 lessons, every interactive calculator, and every checklist in Investing 101 are completely free, with no sign-up, account, or email address required.
Does this course work for my country?
Yes. The principles — compounding, diversification, low fees, asset allocation, dollar-cost averaging, and investor behaviour — are universal. Where specifics differ by country (tax-advantaged accounts, brokers, local index funds), the course shows you the pattern and exactly what to look up for your own country.
How much money do I need to start investing?
Far less than most people think. With fractional shares and low-minimum index funds, many brokers let you start with the equivalent of $10–50 a month. The amount matters far less than starting early and automating — time in the market is the ingredient you can't buy back later.
Is this course financial advice?
No. Investing 101 is educational content — it teaches the concepts, maths, and behaviour of long-term investing so you can make your own informed decisions. It doesn't recommend specific securities, products, or providers, and it's not a substitute for a licensed financial adviser who knows your personal situation.
Will this course teach me to pick winning stocks or time the market?
Deliberately not. The evidence is overwhelming that most professionals fail to beat simple index funds over the long run, and that market timing costs ordinary investors more than crashes do. This course teaches the boring, evidence-backed approach: broad diversification, low fees, automation, and staying invested.
What should I do before starting this course?
Ideally, have your basic money system in place: a workable budget, no high-interest debt spiralling, and the start of an emergency fund. Lesson 2 includes a readiness check, and our free Money 101 course covers those foundations if you need them first.
