📖 Open-notes — just like the real exam. NASM's CNC exam lets you refer to the course while you answer, so this practice exam does too. Keep the Chapter Lookup Map and your lesson notes open. But watch the clock: 90 minutes for 100 questions is about 54 seconds per question — enough to answer what you know, not enough to look everything up. Try a two-pass approach: answer what you know first, then use the time left for lookups (Lesson 1).

Each attempt draws 100 questions at random from a bank of 285, weighted by section — 12 from Professional Practice, 42 from Nutrition Science, 17 from Behavior Change Strategies and 29 from Practical Nutrition Coaching. These weights are The Flex Cult's estimate based on how many chapters each section has, not NASM's official blueprint. Answer options are shuffled every time, and the review at the end links every question to the lesson that covers it.

Practice questions written by The Flex Cult based on NASM's publicly described CNC curriculum, curated from this course's 24 lesson knowledge checks — not official NASM exam questions. The 70% pass mark mirrors NASM's published passing score, but a passing score here is not the same as passing the real NASM CNC exam, and it does not earn any NASM credential.
