The full course is now live. All 21 lessons reflect Precision Nutrition Level 1's real 3-unit structure — Units 1, 2, and 3, including the GLP-1 coaching chapter PN added for 2026 — and the 105-question cumulative practice exam and free completion certificate are both ready to go. Already studying for a personal training exam? Our
NASM-CPT and
ACE-CPT courses are fully live now too, including their mock exams.

Current edition
Version 4 — fully digital, GLP-1 chapter added 2026
These figures are confirmed directly against Precision Nutrition's own official curriculum page (3 units, 21 chapters) and current help-center documentation, verified August 2026. Note: an older legacy Table of Contents PDF still circulates on Precision Nutrition's own certification subdomain describing a 2-unit, 17-chapter structure — that appears to be a stale, unrefreshed sales asset from a prior edition, not the current Version 4 curriculum reflected here. Always confirm current cost, format, and policies directly at precisionnutrition.com before registering — this page is a study aid, not a substitute for Precision Nutrition's official information.
📖
Follows the Real Chapter Structure
Twenty-one lessons map directly onto Precision Nutrition's own 3-unit curriculum — The PN Approach, the Science of Nutrition, and the Coaching Process — so studying here tracks with studying the real material, not a shortcut around it.
🧭
Written From Inside the Process
This course is written by Riya Sharma, who is building it alongside her NASM-CPT and ACE-CPT prep — bringing a nutrition-coaching lens to complement the exercise-science ground those courses already cover.

Honest About What It Is (and Isn't)
This course does not certify you and isn't affiliated with Precision Nutrition — no independent site can replace the real program. What it does is give you a genuinely thorough, free way to prepare for it.
By the end of this course, you'll have:
- A working understanding of all three PN Level 1 units, in the same order the real program teaches them.
- Chapter-by-chapter notes, video walkthroughs, and downloadable PDFs and slide decks as each lesson publishes.
- A knowledge-check quiz completed per lesson, matching PN's real 75% passing bar, so you know exactly where your gaps are.
- A full practice-exam experience, open-book and untimed like the real thing, with a review-your-answers breakdown, once the lesson set is complete.
This course is built for you if...
- You've already chosen Precision Nutrition Level 1 (or are leaning toward it) and want a free, structured way to study alongside the official curriculum.
- You learn better from a mix of video, written notes, and practice questions than from a single format.
- You want to know where you actually stand before spending on the real program (regularly $799, though PN runs frequent promotions).
- You already hold (or are pursuing) a CPT certification and want to understand how PN's nutrition-coaching approach differs from what NASM or ACE cover.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this course certify me as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach?
No. This is a free, independent study resource — it does not issue Precision Nutrition's official certification. To become PN Level 1 certified, you register and complete the real program directly through Precision Nutrition.
Is this affiliated with Precision Nutrition?
No. The Flex Cult is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Precision Nutrition. "Precision Nutrition" and "PN Level 1" are trademarks of their respective owners.
Is this course live yet?
Yes — all 21 lessons across all three units are live, along with the 105-question cumulative practice exam and the free completion certificate. The full course is done, start to finish.
How is Precision Nutrition Level 1 graded differently from NASM-CPT or ACE-CPT?
NASM and ACE use a single timed, closed-book exam. PN Level 1 instead uses per-chapter exams (open-book, untimed), and you pass by hitting a 75% score cumulatively across every chapter combined — not a minimum on each individual chapter.
Are the practice questions real Precision Nutrition exam questions?
No. Every practice question in this course was written originally by The Flex Cult, modeled on Precision Nutrition's own published chapter and unit structure — not copied or leaked from the real program.
Should I choose Precision Nutrition Level 1 or NASM CNC?
Both are nutrition coaching certifications for working with generally healthy clients. PN Level 1 leans further into habit-based coaching and is assessed with open-book, untimed chapter exams; NASM CNC covers similar science and behavior-change ground with a single timed, open-book 100-question exam, and suits trainers already in the NASM ecosystem. We have free exam prep for both — see our
NASM CNC exam prep course to compare the syllabi side by side.
